I think so, too, but I also think it would be beneficial to try and discuss it rationally. That she chooses not to and instead claims we're "flat earthers" is a pretty clear indication that she herself is a true believer who has zero appreciation of the necessity for being open-minded -- without which, critical thinking is an impossibility.

Don't know if you remember the "Moral Majority" from the Reagan/Bush years, but in certain respects a great many liberals today have an identical mindset: "we're right, anyone who disagrees with us is wrong and should be censored/condemned.
