Music
My friend won tickets to "Greatest Piano Men" and since i happen to be in town I went with her and a couple of other people. It was soo loud. I had no idea what to expect. There were 4 guys, dressed as Elton, Liberache, Billy Joel, and the 4th guy was Stevie Wonder, Little Richard and Ray Charles packed in to 1.

I should have said no to this event. The dinner prior and catching up with friends was great.

Is it his birthday or some other date relevant to him? I ask because one of his songs was recently stuck in my head and I only would have heard it online or on television because it was significant to him.

He was the king of country music, and still is. Pretty sure Merle Haggard was in the audience and was inspired to become a musician. Hell of a story, eh? hah

Play it again I said because I had walked in when it was nearly over and I liked the vibe of it. A lot.

Who is it I asked. I wanted to listen to it over & over. She said Taylor Swift and I laughed and asked again and of course she repeated what she had already said. I told her to come the fuck on. We don't listen to pop music, we listen to classic rock. Hmmph.   Dramaqueen

Holy shit, it really was Taylor Swift.

I just looked up the lyrics for "Rock the Casbah" for the first time. Woa.

Cool old tune. This is the very first time I've ever paid attention to the lyrics, I've always just enjoyed the beat.
