The wonderful thing about youtube is you can find so many different versions of songs. I try to find ones that have good audio *and* video. Not always possible, but it often is.

Speaking of which, here's an improved version of the Steely Dan concert I posted previously...

This began to play and a few of us broke into song. We knew all the words and it made us all laugh. I couldn't do that with any of today's music. I don't know the words to any of it, hell, I don't even know who most of the people are.

Such great old tunes. This is my favorite genre. It wasn't called classic rock when I first started listening to it. Har Har.

Yeah I don't know a lot of today's music either, but hanging out with young people and watching the musical guests on SNL helps. Granted most of today's music is terrible but there is some good music.

I guess fusion is my favorite musical genre. Not a word I like much, as I dislike the human tendency to put everything in a box so we can pretend that we know what's going on.

This do anything for you?

I wanted to like it. It wasn't awful, just seemed sort of new-age-ish and that's not what I find appealing.

I've heard of Doja Cat, Clangy, I'm not familiar with her music, but I've heard of her. The other one you posted isn't familiar to me.

I wasn't familiar with or had heard of either of them until some young friends I hang out with at Castle Cigars played them for me.

Years ago when one of my brothers was stationed at Camp Lejeune I spent a week with him down there. I bought this CD at a mall and I still have it.  hah Weird, because I'm not really what you would call a fan, but obviously I liked it, I spent money on it. When I played it I was taken right back to those moments in time. Good times!
