Were stores open on Sunday where you were? 

Do you remember wax lips and the little wax things filled with sweet liquid. For the life of me I cannot remember what they were called.

Knowing what I know now about sugar, I cringe at all the horrible shit I ingested as a child. And yeah, I remember the wax lips/teeth filled with sickeningly sweet liquid, which I loved at the time. Pixie Stix were my fav's. Smiley_emoticons_slash

The corner store here still sells the wax bottles. It was always my favorite candy because it's fun to chew on the wax. I liked ju ju bees too.

Yes stores were closed on Sunday's when I was growing up.
As well as Jewish stores were closed on Saturday's, "their" Sabbath!

Yes i remember wax candies, I didn't like them. I did like Necco, Good and Plenty, Ju Ju beads, Peeps, and colored candy dots on a roll of paper.
