DID HE RAPE HER?

I don't think we've all ever agreed on any one thing. That's not a complaint, it's an observation. I like debate/discord, it promotes posting and that what I like the most of all.    27

Anyway...

I think this is fucked up and I'm wondering if we all agree on that.

Francios Momolu Khalil in 2017 picked up a woman from a Minneapolis bar and took her back to his home. The woman "blacked out" on Khalil's couch and woke up to find him allegedly sexually assaulting her.

The Minnesota Supreme Court on Wednesday ruled that a man who had sex with a woman while she was passed out on his couch cannot be found guilty of rape because the victim got herself drunk beforehand.

I think we can all agree that your poasting skills aren't what they could be. hah

Re rape, if you're a barfly/alcoholic, your life expectancy is shit, and your quality of life is, too. Hopefully, this experience helped her to realize that she needs help, and I think that is far more important than this court decision.

Yeah, the SC fucked up royally, the woman was drunk and could not say NO! Who knows if the guy didn't didn't spike her drink with GHB, so it was not her fault if she passed out!

It's interesting that neither of you bother to mention any of the evidence that the judgement is based on. For instance, why did she go home with the man if she wasn't interested in having sex with him? Did he kidnap her?

Unless he drugged her at the bar and she blacked out there, I'd say it's on her for going back to his place while drinking. I'd also say he's scum for having his way with her while she was blacked out. I guess I think they're pretty much both scum and made for each other. If she willingly went back to his house, I dont think they have any way to charge him with rape unless they can prove he drugged her. If that's not the case, it is he said, she said.

That's about it, +/- 5%. Given how risky it can be for a woman to be intoxicated in public, how should this issue be handled? Should bar owners bear liability for the state their patrons leave in? Should public intoxication be prohibited, again? And perhaps the most important question of all, do humans know how to solve even the simplest of problems?

I as a good Catholic have never taken advantage of a woman when she was drunk. I have taken their cars for some high speed hy jinx though.

We are basically animals with manners most of the time, our creator whoever that may be programmed us to spread our dna far and wide. The planet would have about 50% less humans if alcohol was not available. I do not condone what that asshole did.

I used to drink back in the day and have been fucked up enough a few times that something like that could have went down, but it never did. Generally speaking, most guys, even a cad, wouldn't do something like that. Guys know the difference.

Christ, you're clueless. Millions of people in this world would slit your throat for $5 or less. No wonder you think Trump and Limbaugh are the epitome of evil. You have no idea what real evil is.

If you were a good catholic,  you would know that women were property,  drunk or not.   Religion sux.
