25-year-old Morgan Summerlin was convicted of taking money and drugs in exchange for letting the two winners above rape her daughters, aged 5 and 6.

Summerlin got 20 years without the possibility of parole. Not enough, in my opinion.

78-year-old Richard 'Pop' Office (top right) was sentenced to life + 146 years. He raped the girls on multiple occasions in his home while their mom waited in his living room.

The same thing happened on a separate occasion, where Summerlin took her children to Alfredo Trejo's home and allowed him to molest and rape the girls for money. He was sentenced to 25 years and probation for life.

The children's grandmother, Teresa Davidson, pled guilty to second-degree cruelty to children for failing to protect the sisters after they told her they were being sexually abused. Grams got 5 years behind bars.

Bunch of truly fucked-up individuals. Those poor girls deserved so much better; I hope they end up in good loving homes. I didn't see any mention of their father in the articles I read.

^ Oreanna Myers, 25, shot her 5 children to death last month before setting the family home on fire and turning the gun on herself.

She left a confessional suicide note in which she wrote she was not strong enough to defeat her “demons,” and apologized for her “evil crime,” law enforcement officials said Thursday.

The horrific Dec. 8 massacre left Myers’ three sons and two stepchildren from her husband’s previous marriage dead. The children were identified as Shaun Dawson Bumgarner, 7, Riley James Bumgarner, 6, Kian Myers, 4, Aarikyle Nova Myers, 3, and Haiken Jirachi Myers, 1.  Rest in peace.

Myers was suffering from depression and was upset that her husband had been staying with his father for two weeks instead of with her and the children at their home outside Williamsburg, W.Va., due to logistical transportation issues, Greenbrier County Sheriff Bruce Sloan said.

Sloan said text messages sent in the week before the tragedy between Myers and her husband showed that her husband's work-related absence was the source of a heated disagreement between the couple.

“Don’t worry about this piece of [expletive] anymore. You’ll have nothing to come back to but to corpse [sic]. You choosing money over my depression shows I am [expletive]. No one cares why should I?” read one of the desperate texts Myers sent to her husband.

Myers left several notes to her husband denoting her guilt, chiding her husband for putting money over her mental health issues, and saying she hoped others would listen to people suffering from mental illness like she was.

I don't doubt she was suffering from mental illness.  But, she knew it and could have sought help on her own.  Sounds, to me, like killing the kids and herself was meant to hurt/punish her husband.  Fucked up, no matter what.
