After 10 years, Spokane's new medical examiner has updated the case of Kala Williams, whose body was found dismembered in a sleeping bag, from undetermined to homicide.

I read the link you provided & I don't understand why her manner of death was found to be undetermined! My god! Anyway, her family is delighted that this case is getting another look and I hope they can get some closure.

undetermined means they couldn't determine the cause of death. she could have chocked on a chicken bone...

being dismembered could have happened after death, and not be the cause. I know, I hear your wheels grinding, who would dismember a body after an accidental death...
