I'm not.   My second born is not,  either.    My first born,  is so severely allergic,  he was hospitalized twice before he turned 18,  and once after.

I've never had the pleasure of getting it. But I know it is awful for some people, not only are they itching, but they actually feel sick from it too.

I'm not either. I handle it nearly every time I'm working around my yard. There is a shit ton of it on the farm and it has never bothered me. *knocks wood*

We once had someone working here who was severely allergic to it and swears up & down that the burning pile of brush, which included poison ivy, had affected him, he was covered in rash.

Tooling down the interstate in the back of a station wagon putting calamine lotion on my nuts not caring who could see. They swelled way up, of course I had it everywhere else as well. Used to put my arms on the hottest water possible to stop the itching.

I did not know that only some people are allergic to it. I always thought that anyone that comes in contact with it gets an itchy rash.
