The puppy I got recently.  And the house is an improvement.

Hahaha!  I just noticed the beach towel in the upstairs window.  I'm looking for window coverings!!  Damn bedrooms get a lot of light.  hah

A new puppy must mean your dog died. I'm sorry, User. I remember the lengths you were going to in order to buy it more time.

Your new house is purty. Love the porch and what I can see of your pergola. You must enjoy that big yard & not having neighbors so close. Are your kids still at home?

I have mixed feelings about that. On one hand, I think it would be pretty fucking cool to look out and see a bear lounging in my pool, but on the other, I would be pretty fucking freaked out to look out and see a bear lounging in my pool.

User, what is that vine growing across the top of the porch? It's looks very well trained.

Thanks. Yeah our lab mix died in early 2018 I think and I swore I’d never get another dog until I changed my mind. Our son is still at home (our other house; we’re trying to get that ready to sell). He’s lived there his entire life and isn’t in a rush to move.

The vine on the porch is wisteria. Well trained now but I have some experience with the stuff getting overgrown and tearing up an overhang we had at our other place.

Our new property has the pergola, a greenhouse (for when I start my cannabis business, heh heh) and a gazebo. It had a recording studio too but we’ve already converted that to a guesthouse/office. It’s nuts in some ways to me that we are taking on a property like this at this stage but there are worse places to break hips, develop dementia and lose the ability to trim my own toenails I suppose.
