THE SOPRANOS
#1
Any Soprano fans in Mock? The Many Saints Of Newark is a prequel to The Sopranos and will be released in early October. It looks like it's all about how Tony comes to be involved in organized crime and it begins in his boyhood. You can probably expect a ton of graphic violence.

Clangy, if you go see it please do a review.

I only watched Season 1 of the Sopranos. I'll watch the rest of the original series before I watch the prequel.

I think I’ve watched all six seasons more than half a dozen times over the years. I’ll watch it out of curiosity alone. Janes Gandolfini was a wizard.

There are 86 episodes and each episode runs 43-75 minutes.

...and here is a tiny bit of trivia, the actor playing the young Tony Soprano is James Gandolfini's real life son Michael.

So about 3 months to "binge" watch it. I wouldn't be able to watch more than an episode a day with all the other TV shows and movies I watch.

This movie starts today. Is anyone watching? I'm going to try and watch over the weekend, but I don't know how successful I'll be.

I may but usually hate anything that tries to reproduce the original.
