This is a wonderful idea. It went into affect on January 1^st. I don't recall hearing about this before today.

I've read in the past of people leaving the country in order to get procedures that are so much cheaper elsewhere. Our healthcare system is so fucked up and the cost of RX is fricken outrageous.

I didn't know about it either and many hospitals will balk at it. But the most they can do is say "we can give you that in a few days" kinda like getting an estimate.
