Police sketch suspect in Springfield Twp. fatal shooting
By Amulya Raghuveer WNWO TV

TOLEDO -- Authorities have released a sketch of a suspect in the murder of a Toledo man at an apartment complex in Springfield Township Saturday evening.

Joseph Linares, 21, was shot twice in the chest after answering the door to his apartment at the Lake of the Woods Apartments at 660 Bancroft Rd. near McCord Rd. The shooting occurred around 8:00 p.m. He was taken to the University of Toledo Medical Center where he died shortly after 9:00 p.m. Saturday.

Police have yet to name a suspect in the shooting, but have released the composite above of a potential suspect. Witnesses at the scene described hearing a scuffle followed by two loud pops. One witness saw two people running from the complex.

Apparently this is in the same area as the previous homicide? Springfield township?
