We fully understand the magnitude of the daunting task we have chosen, and we use stories published by various sources to demonstrate the message we are touting. We express no editorial opinion on the story, good or bad, only that it shows the pressing need for our mission to succeed.

Another prime example: one in five Americans can not name one of the three branches of government.

Trump did some good things while in office, but he did some stupid things as well. But I said back in 2016 he would not make any real change in DC. That swamp is set structural concrete with titanium mesh; a nuclear warhead would only chip some paint. 

DC elites will never voluntarily give up power; there are far too many lobbyists, staffers and bureaucrats that are permanent fixtures in the decision making process. They don’t care who gets elected; they will just wait til that person is gone, or they will destroy them if they become effective..

I said it would take some one with deep personal conviction to principal to affect change, and Trump ain’t that guy. I thought Cruz might be, but now we will never know.

The US Constitution, as ratified by the states, created the federal government, enumerated the functions under its control and provided a grant of limited power for the federal government to perform those enumerated functions. The grant of limited power and the check and balance structure contained in US Constitution assured Americans that there would be no abuse of power by the federal government. Without that assurance, the US Constitution would not have been ratified. As a people, Americans have allowed the federal government to exceed its grant of limited power and to use this newly acquired power to abuse the rights of all Americans. Our last line of defense to stop this abuse is our states.

Every state legislator takes this oath, “I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support, obey and defend the Constitution of the United States and the Constitution of this Commonwealth (or State) and that I will discharge the duties of my office with fidelity”. By taking this oath to defend the Constitution of United States, they are assuming the duty and obligation to defend YOU against the abuse of YOUR rights by the federal government. The Framers gave them the tool to defend you against this abuse of power. In Article V of the US Constitution, the states were given the power to propose amendments to the Constitution at a convention of the states so that there would be a source of power to stop abuses by the federal government. However, they will not use Article V to defend us unless we demand that they do so. ,

Moving forward ignore the distractions and remain focused on the real goal!

DC can not be fixed from inside the beltway; there is only one party there - progressivism. The RINO's agree with the socialists. Trump tried, but even he couldn't turn that ship. No one can. The solution must come from the states - Article V Convention of States. Talk to your state Rep. and Senator; if they resist elect some one else with the conviction to uphold the Constitution. This is the only fix that will work barring civil war.

This task won't be easy; it will take all of us working together.

The states created the federal government, enumerated the functions it was allowed to perform and provided the limited power necessary for the federal government to perform only those enumerated functions, when they ratified the U.S. Constitution. For far too long, Americans have permitted the federal government to exceed its grant of limited power and to use this newly acquired power to abuse the rights of all Americans. Our last line of defense to stop this abuse is you.

You took this oath, “I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support, obey and defend the Constitution of the United States and the Constitution of this Commonwealth and that I will discharge the duties of my office with fidelity” when you were sworn into office.. By taking this oath you assumed the duty and obligation to defend me against the usurpation of my inalienable rights by the federal government. The Framers specifically gave you the weapon to defend me against any misuse of power by the federal government.

Under Section Two of Article V, in the Constitution, the states were given the power to propose amendments to the Constitution at a convention of the states; that clause was unanimously approved without out debate, the only one in the document. The Framers put that clause in our Constitution so there would be a source of authority outside of Washington D.C. to stop the federal government’s unfettered accumulation of power.

The 2019 concurrent resolution for the PA House is HR 206 and the PA Senate is SR 234.  Once these resolutions are voted on and passed in both chambers, Pennsylvania will submit a formal application to the US Congress requesting an Article V amending convention of states and join the 15 other states that have already submitted an application.

As a constituent, I strongly urge you to support HR 206, and ask your colleagues to do the same.

It is time to return the usurped power back to Harrisburg, where the Framers intended it should reside.
