Is that t for yourself? Or others? Always make one for yourself first.
The holidays are coming and I am trying to be prepared for those who stop in. I know that not everyone will make it a short visit and I'd like to be ready for that. I'm a planner.

You can buy those little pre-made pastry shells from the store, brush with melted butter, add a small square of brie and some jam and pop in the oven at 350 until the cheese starts to melt and is heated through. They come out just as good except they're bite sized and you don't have to mess with pastry sheets.

I make my own spice rub, wrap them in foil and bake at 250 for a couple of hours or until they are tender but not so much that they are falling apart from the bone. Then I finish them on the gril so that they get the smoke flavor and a nice char and I brush them lightly with bbq sauce. They come out good every time. Not as good as doing them in a smoker, but it's the next best thing.

I was going to try to have those sort of things on hand, but I can barely keep food for myself these days. I hate it when people say "Oh we'll turn it into a pot luck" fucking A.

It's not hard to fuck up ribs. I've never done ribs but I imagine if I did do ribs, they'd end up more charred than Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru.

Pork tenderloin done in a slow cooker works for me.

That makes me recall telling Ramsey to nail her Jewish SIL from hell with a pork tenderloin. Makes me laugh all over again.
