This was my favorite show back in the day. I thought it was so smart & well written, nobody could mock the way that crew did. They have remained friends and recently got together to toast the 50th anniversary of the show that they said changed their lives.

I grew up watching that show. Whenever I visit my mom it is on the cycle of shows that she has playing in the background and it is so different to watch it today then when I was growing up. And I find myself laughing at the humor.
Also-seeing the song Mark posted-I never knew the words to that song, it is so depressing. I shared it with my mom, she said the same thing.

I am curious about what you are up to Duchess. I don't know which thread you had posted in about the changes you were making, and the trailer you were buying...

I bought it. It's a 5th wheel and it's beautiful. It's still sitting in my driveway and I've got so much going on I don't think I've spent even a half hour inside of it. The last time I was in it was in July, I was taking down all those ridiculous looking valances that all RV's seem to have. It has a lot of windows and I want plain white sheers that flow all the way around. All that's on hold for now.

Actually that is the less dark version. This is the real episode...

I stayed in a tiny house recently that reminded me of a motor home. Since it was on my friend's property I was thinking, "HEy it needs these silly little valances maybe for some privacy and or sun blockage"
I can't remember if I posted pics of it here. I always thought I could live in a tiny house and this definitely tested that. I bumped my arms and legs a couple of times and I had to unpack my suitcase completly so that it wasn't sitting out becuase there wasn't any room to just have it in a corner anywhere.
But it was fun.

I get your point and I would have something under the sheers, probably bamboo shades for privacy, but anyway, isn't this look prettier than those pesky valances?

No. That is something that my friends wouldn't even walk in, for fear of getting it dirty.

It looks like a showroom. Hideous.

It’s too white, it needs some color.

And soft lighting. It's too clinical. Dirty footprints would be an improvement.

I like it. The only thing I'd change is the couch and ottomans from white to a dark tan leather. My dogs would have that white couch fucked up. I like the absence of color, but that look always needs something to contrast with it whether it's just a piece of furniture or artwork, doesnt have to be much.

I also like the washed out blue accents. Just some darker furniture and a matching blue centerpiece on the table will bring it all together.
