Yup, I was told that my ancient and wise flip phone would be useless after January so I had to get another phone. No more easy drop this little thing into my front pocket and just go anymore. It's depressing, I've had this for almost 15 yrs. The new one is 4G so I won't be responsible for taking down any planes, or messing with their navigation equipment.

I should have it in a few days as long as it doesn't end up on the RR tracks in California or something.

I hear ya, I'm having a similar problem with my old 18 year old Comcast cable box!
(My motto: If it ain't broke don't fix it!
I bought a new smart 4K TV with all the bells and whistles. Man, I'm so sorry I did, for the last 4 weeks I've been on the phone almost every other day for hours each time!
There is a "sound delay" between the picture and actual sound. It's like a Godzilla Jap movie where the people say like 10 words, and then the sound of the words follows 2-3 seconds later! I've made 8 calls to the TV manufacturer talking to the trouble shooters for up to 3 hours most times, to no avail.
Then 2 days ago they sent a "repair" guy to check out the TV, he could not find what the problem was. So they then said it has to be my "18" year old cable box, that likely is not compatible with the new TV technology.
So yesterday I went and got a new Comcast Cable box, and connected it, and
low and behold, the new box doesn't work right. I called Comcast 4 times, spoke to 4 different trouble shooters, and they sent a reboot signal and each time it didn't correct the problem! They said the new box is defective! So at this point still don't know if the new box will fix the sound delay problem. Damn!!!
So now the Comcast repair guy is coming tomorrow, to install a new box!
All because I traded in my "18" year old cable box! Should have stayed with my old TV!

It kind of pisses me off in a way.
When I worked at the bank there were people who had flip phones and I knew it so I didn't do the whole, "Did you know you can do your banking on your phone" bit even tho my managers wanted me to.

They don't want a smart phone! They have a flip phone leave them alone!

I just figure with all the hackers out there the less places that have my personal info the better. Don't even ask for my SSN. All my passwords are in a notebook. I do not need someone keeping them for me because no one will hack my note book.

I just heard of a person getting scammed in our town. They just moved here-or are trying to move here-they just got a job at the hospital. Anyway, a person rented a vacation rental place out-then claimed they owned it-they had the keys to it-they showed the guy the place and then took his $!
Now I have to ask how smart the guy is too. But also this shit makes me mad.
