Idaho was once known for its white supremecy.

31 men in riot gear were just hanging out in the back of a uhaul. Only a handful were from the PNW.

The comments on FB on this article were sort of interesting.

I saw that over the weekend. My very favorite part is the fact they were all unmasked and their names & faces are now known. Hide now, muthafuckas.

I kinda wish that I understood the arrest process a little better,   or maybe knew a bit more legalese.

Mirah's original post stated that they were arrested for criminal conspiracy,   yet the offense descriptions in the police log are all over the place.   Some have bonds, but most don't.

Regardless of what charges stick,  they are not going to be held for long,  anyway.    I hope someone is going to keep an eye on this group when they go free .

The law is always some of the most confusing things I read online.

I saw it reported that the criminal conspiracy charges are misdemeanors and are considered "minor" charges. The police found riot gear, smoke grenade, shin guards & shields in the rental U-Haul, as well as written plans to riot.

Just an observation--these men are part of the very large "but muh rights" crowd, yet, they are willing to be arrested and charged in order to prevent others their rights.

They only had $300 bail and were free by yesterday. Court date today.

The police chief has just come out and said that he and his department have been receiving death threats since arresting all those individuals.

Fuck the SPLC. Racial supremacy is the norm in Israel, but everywhere else it's taboo. Rules for thee, but not for we. Fuck these assholes.

There was a doctor in Israel who walked into a mosque and murdered about 25 people. Happened about 35 years ago. There's a shrine dedicated to him, and about half of the population see him as a hero. That's the reality in Israel. It's worse than Apartheid South Africa was, but all of our politicians are sworn to serve that disgusting shithole like it's Mount Olympus. People need to wake the fuck up, because they hate us.

I've never looked at Israel as so many do. I view them as the same terrorists that they refer to others as.

The way to fix racism is with..... more racialism!!!

If a person looks at another race and right away has an opinion of THAT person because of skin color THAT is racism. It's really simple. When a government doesn't treat everyone the same because of race. THAT is also racism.

Exactly. When one race gets special treatment...racism. Systemic racism.

There are always going to be winners and losers in hierarchy. No one wants to give up power and privilege once it's attained, with the exception of gullible fools who allow themselves to be guilt-tripped by sneaky arseholes who have no intention of changing the balance of power in any significant way. The only people who bear responsibility for social injustice are those who make the policies that cause it.

It's patently absurd to think that inequity is a purely racial phenomenon. Class has significantly greater utility for analysing social phenomena when it's applied in accordance with scientific methodology; CRT, on the other hand, is purely dogmatic.

There is currently a missing person on the lake. They were kayaking on a windy day, the kayak and the life vest were recovered, but the individual was not.
Also they are diabetic, and if they were wandering around, well they are probably presumed not alive at this point. : (
Many have been searching for this 18 year old. So many scenarios.

"last seen going over the waterfalls and into heavy rapids" ooohhhhh that sounds very bad and to have his lifejacket found is just awful.

Love Child, what do you think about him going over the waterfalls in his kayak? Is this something that is done for the thrill of it?

oh I just realized those are 2 separate stories, one about an 18 year old and the other about a 40 year old missing in another location.

I went by the place where the 18 year old was last seen today and didn't see anything, but sure did keep an eye out. I know that area better than I know the area the guy went over the Wenatchee river. I have no way of answering that question w/out knowing the details.

There are very skilled kayakers that do crazy things just for the thrill of it. I stick to calmer waters and basically am going the speed of ducks swimming.
