Coffee is great for sobering up after drinking lots of beer.

Coffee helps with my depression. I've quit a few times and I go back to it after a few months. Now I drink 1 cup per day with 3 tablespoons coffee, and I feel pretty good. I take venlafaxine, as well, which keeps me from wanting to kill myself. Coffee actually helps to feel good. I have a roaster in my town, so i get the best coffee, fresh as can be. Has antioxidants, too!

I'm sorry you have to go through that. I don't wish that on anyone. I wish it could be as simple as Sally says and she is lucky if it worked for her and if it works for others.
I never want to tell someone they don't need medicine.

It scares the shit out of me when I hear stories of people killing themselves because of a medicine mishap-that should not happen. It is fucked up.

I've done electro-convulsive therapy, too. Doc told me to expect 1-3 hours of memory loss. I lost 3 days. But some people swear by it. It's the same with medication. I was tapering off the venlafaxine before COVID showed up. After a year it started getting to me (COVID), and it's been tough ever since, but I feel like I have it relatively easy compared to most people in this world. I don't lack for anything essential, for which I'm thankful.

I think everyone has some kind of cross to bear, and it's pretty pointless comparing one's suffering to anyone else's; for example, if you're insensitive you'll have a higher tolerance for pain, if you're sensitive you'll have a greater capacity for empathy. Which is better? Depends on who you ask.

My kids are like me and their father too. Not the little one of course, but the adult kids. They like to drink beer too and I can't really preach to them as they work all day and take care of their business. I don't know, we are one beer drinking family. I guess it's better than meth.

I think I'm probably on the insensitive side. I don't think either is better, it's just the way I am.

Cassaletti's had a cuss jar, on christmas they had free booze at the annual christmas potluck party. They also had shake a day, you rolled the five dice and if you got Yahtzee, sometimes the prize was over a $1000. We went on fantastic trips together and had many great adventures, used to pack my parachute on the dance floor while drinking beers...

Good times, huh!

I haven't been to a bar in years and I don't miss it, but I sure did have a lot of fun back in the day. My life has changed so much since those days. I'm going to bed on a Saturday night at the same time I used to be getting ready to go out.

Crazy huh.

I miss going dancing.

I love nature and the outdoors, but occasionally I just want to be in a room with noise and endless people and chatter, music and chaos.

An old dive bar of locals sounds really nice right about now.

If those locals are mockers, well that would be all right too.

Bob Saget, rest his soul once did a stand up routine where he talks about being on a kiddie train at a theme park w/ his kids or kid (I have no idea how many he has) and the person driving the train is probably similar to the one in that picture and he does this great impression of the guy-but all he can see is this guy's ass-so everytime he hears the guy say, "And over here we have the great magesitc buffalo" Bob Saget would imagine him saying "The great magestic buffalo coming out of the crack of my ass, crack of my ass"

Wow, I really should just find the video instead.

The only adjusting guys need to do before they sit down is their cock and balls. Accidentally sitting on your cock and balls, not a pleasant sensation. Almost as painful as getting hit in the cock and balls.
