On a trick or treat route? What are you giving out?
I used to get less than 5 kids, so I bought an 8 pack of chocolate bars and called it good. This year, a bunch of kids moved into my area. I have a case of reusable dollar tree cups, that I was thinking of handing out, with a lollipop inside.
Do you think my house will get egged?

At least toilet papered, we sometimes got up to 150. We actually moved into our house on Halloween day and that evening had carved pumpkins and gave out king sized snickers, people were saying "didn't you just move in today?"

I was working on a haunted house, otherwise I love handing out candy and I would usually go to a friend's house that has trick or treaters and make dinner and hang out and hand out candy. Or I go downtown to watch all of the trick or treaters there. I like seeing the costumes.

I LOVE seeing the costumes, or the kids in costumes. I had some really good ones show up this year.

Yeah I missed that this year. I did see some costumes and got to scare people, that is always fun. I have a crow mask that I wear and I just sit there and slowly move and that freaks people out.

I almost bought a dragon mask at a craft fair last weekend. They were 3D printed, but hand painted. Had frills and everything. The 'hand painted ' part sucked, tho.

I would LOVE to have the dinosaur costume. I wouldn't even wait for Halloween to wear it. I'd wear it whenever. Hell, I'd stand at the end of my driveway and wave to everyone who passed by.
...and dance!

Because it would be a ridiculous waste of money.

We have a t-rex club in town. They plan outings where a group of fully grown ass adults dress up in trex costumes and run around town reeking havoc. I love watching the videos they post, and usually laugh my ass off.
Bringing joy to yourself and others is not a waste of money. If it makes you happy, do it.
