I got my vehicle oil change this morning at the shop I've been going to regularly. There was a baby in the office, a 4 month old. The office is right next to the shop, where the door was open allowing for sounds and smells to enter. On one hand I think "Hey, good for them, they can bring thier baby to work" but on the other hand I think "Hey thats no place for a baby"

Babies shouldn't be smelling exhaust.

That is what I was thinking. I hope they would close the door if something got too smelly. I'm not sure how often the baby is there or for how long. Looks like it is one of the mechanics and the office gal-but there was also an office guy.
When I worked in a shop and they changed a fuel filter right next to the office it was terrible.

From smelling that oil and exhaust, the baby will probably grow up to be a grease monkey.
