Thanksgiving Recipes
#1
Someone posted thier version of Green Bean Casserole: It looks tasty

green beans
bacon
onions
garlic
tomatoes
olive oil
serrano peppers
chicken broth
pan (we use a cast iron one for bacon frying)
foil lined bake pan - as big or little as you want

fry bacon - lots and lots of it cause why not!
place bacon in foil lined bake pan - save about half of it for the end - leave bacon drippings in pan add cleaned green beans to your bacon grease pan
sauté onions and garlic first - you’ll smell the yumminess coming together then add tomatoes and mushrooms (if desired) sauté for a few
add a pinch of salt pepper, tony’s seasoning, chopped serrano peppers - all to taste
add green beans and then your chicken broth swirl around your veggies in the bacon grease pan for a few minutes DO NOT OVERCOOK GREEN BEANS - they need to bake in the oven for a few so you want them crunch still
add you BG Pan contents to the foil lined bake pan with your bacon - too with the rest of your bacon
cover with foil, and placed in your 375 oven for about ten min
voila green beans “casserole” [Image: 1f602.png]
you can add chili flakes
yeah the bacon grease can be drained but if you’re making this for thanksgiving go for it it’s thanksgiving! just make sure you wear stretchy pants!
very good with garlic, cheese ranch mashy potatoes

You need lots of bacon to cover up the foul stench and taste of green beans. The spicy serrano peppers will help too.
