I am going to have to dig out my laptop later to link all the references concerning my last post in this thread,  but the tl:dr version is.

Dennis E, a former red Sox player adopted Alexandra around age 2, and it was quickly discovered that she had mental health problems.  When she turned 18, he wasn't able to make decisions for her anymore (legal adult), and SHE cut all ties.  She is known for being a meth addict on the streets.   She gave birth maybe before,  maybe after  midnight.   She then called 911, told them she gave birth to a still born, and needed medical help.  She then gave police false information about where the stillborn was.  An hour or so later,  she gave police the correct information,  and they found an actual alive baby boy.

That baby is a fighter!  He was in Concord Hospital's NICU unit for a few hours,  then he was transferred to Dartmouth-Hitchcock's neonatal.   His status is listed as improving.

All of New England is watching this case right now.

Well, legally, the grandfather can adopt the child. The grandparents have rights.

Once, I hear the word "meth" it's a deal breaker. Kindof end of story. The brain chemistry is altered permanently. I have never seen it end well.
