He did answer 2 calls and a few texts.

He is super nice - kind of man’s man type.

And…. Has texted me a few times today - one of which saying he had a great time.
Lol. Maybe he doesn’t hate me.

Happy for you Donovan.
And I’m selfishly happy for some hope.

That was my mom's signature outfit back when she was young and good looking. She always wore a bodysuit with jeans and heels. I can't pull that off, not because I wouldn't look good (well maybe now I wouldn't) but it just doesn't fit me. I'm more tight jeans, tight sweater and sneakers of flip flops.

Aww nice!
It‘s a go-to formula for casual date night for sure.

Give him a chance, he sounds like an introvert, are you? Introverts and extroverts generally go well together, what one doesnt have the other does. If hes an introvert it will take time to get to know him, depending on how introverted he is. And whether your bothered. Does he have a sense of humour? Im a true introvert, but can be extrovert for a while till my petrol tank expires. I doubt if anyone ive known knows me at all.

Give him permission to be extrovert by being that yourself. If you make contact with his inner self he will love you for it. There are some introverts that are cold and calculating, that will show too, but are good people. Warmth is priceless. I found the Myers Briggs foundation priceless in understanding myself and others, its on the internet.

This is so helpful - I think you nailed it.
He is an introvert and the distinction you made is big - i can’t see him as cold/calculating, just cautious. Disciplined.  I’m much more extroverted.
I think I’m used to people trying to move too fast so it’s throwing me off. But he’s someone that I could respect- which is meaningful to me. A stand up guy.
He continues to reach out to me so we will see where this goes…
I’ve strangely kind of paused other dating for the moment to give a fair chance to know each other better. (He doesn’t know that haha)

He’s a weird combo of over-inflated sense of self, trying too hard, a touch of socially awkward.
I feel like i would need to be his mom - I already have two kids and he would be my worst one.
Doc is officially friend zoned.

There's more to Piglet than meets the eye. I guess.

I'd probably have trouble meeting Piglet's eye. I always picture him as a midget or some type of Oompa Loompa.

I hope it all works out!
I am still curious about the comedian tho.

Thank you!

I’ll check in with the comedian just for you - although like someone said earlier- I’m afraid I’ll be part of his act. Lol

Plot thickens - a guy I used to date who moved halfway around the country just texted that he just landed at nearby airport and asked me to go to dinner to catch up.

I recommend a binge watch of 'Catfish' it would scare anyone off of online dating. It is one of the scariest shows.

"everything I said was true except for the picture". I'd be like "yeh yeh" and then run.

So far, no catfish.

The latest in my date life drama is that ex that came into town is complicating things because he’s going to be here for 4 months…maybe more and wants to be together.

Life is weird.

I made a status update on social media today and got a message from a High School boyfriend. His wife recently passed away, we actually met up and went and saw his parents, then when he dropped me off we chatted w/ my mom for a while, it was nice.
He already invited me to a family thing on Sunday-and I'm like.....AAAAAHHHHH too overwhelming!

My best friend said I should come see her instead. Ugh. Then that makes me want to go see him instead. WTF

Can't you guys just join a band or something? You will never be short of attention without the nasty surprises.
