Me. I've gone food shopping on Christmas Eve,but the worst was shopping on Mother's Day years ago. Mainly because the parking and traffic were so bad because the Tulip Festival is the same weekend. Thankfully this year, I'll be at a Potfest that weekend.

Me too. I was so disgusted with myself when I posted that early this morning.

I'm back home now. It wasn't too awful, but I got there way early and hoped I wouldn't have to deal with a mass of people.

I'm going to do the opposite and go right before they close. Everyone is probably thinking the same thing though and then the employees will really be pissed. I'm not cooking anything special tomorrow, I just need the stuff I regularly buy.

I did my grocery order, but not as early as I should have. It arrived and on the note was "Sorry, no blueberries!" Well then fucking put frozen ones in them!

Where there is smoke, there is fire.

Today I went into the local store and the girl behind the counter asked if I was "Mirah" that is staying at such and such place? "Yes"
"I almost came to your house to take a shower the other day!" "I was walking down the road but then I saw smoke coming out of the chimney and realized someone is probably staying there!"
"Yeup"
And then I said
"You can come over and use the shower any time"

So, that happened today. LOL.

AND THEN
I was dropping off some items for someone and when I was walking back there were 2 guys up on the balcony of the lodge I was walking by. One of them asked if I was picking someone up, I said no and they said I should be.
I laughed,but then when I was driving away I thought, "OMG what creeps!"

Here in Australia the couple of days lead up right to the last day the shops are crazy. Seafood is big a Christmas time, and Easter so the emphasis is on the freshest seafood.

Generally speaking, around here people do hams at Easter, turkey at Thanksgiving and prime rib at Christmas. Seafood is any time, all the time, probably because it's so plentiful here.

I was just thinking that most Americans don't realize that Anheuser Busch and Budweiser are foreign owned companies.

They sold out about 15 years ago, to a Belgian and Brazilian conglomerate.

Bud is about as American as a dark chocolate waxing.
