I am so scared. Nervous and I already miss my mom's quiting room.

hah

I knew what you meant.

But it seems so appropriate, especially with a job . . . "quitting".

Good luck!  The nerves will pass and your confidence will build.

Or you can QUILT . . . and be done with it!

I am feeling so frustrated at how long this process is taking. I am so close to pulling the plug and starting all over. That is what I want to do. Fuck this.

This is the beginning of the 12th week since I had my background check done. It finally went through 2 weeks ago, I hae a tentative orientation.......I think I am a very patient person.

End of week 12.
I got told at 7:20 AM that I would not have any orientation the following week. I re-scheduled my plans to travel over the passes that day. 2 hours later I got told it was back on.
Today I got told of some additional training needed in another state in 1 month.
The list goes on of things that have caught me off guard in this last week.

It's starting to sound like a shitshow. I feel certain they wouldn't tolerate that wishy washy response from their employees. WTF!

It is a shit show. Gov entity.
They want me to respond w/ in 3 days of any documents, yet they make me wait 4 months to start working.
I just checked my timeline I started. Oct 11 was when I got the phone call saying I had been hired.

Well I did it. I pulled the plug this week and then everyone scrambled and now I am back on. OMG. It was so wierd, after I said I was done I felt better, but I felt sad.
Then the person that has been waiting to train me this whole time called and wanted to talk and said the whole community is pulling together for me. I fucking cried omg. SO NOW I have a different place to stay, it is not on the river, but it won't cost me an arm and a leg to move in. THERE ARE NO HOUSING OPTIONS in this place. And anyone that has anything extra will just rent to tourists because they can make more $.

Roller coaster ride, coming to a halt soon. Thankfully.
I haven't even told my family yet because last they knew I had pulled the plug and was done. (Don't make a bad joke Mark!)

It literally changed every week, probably every other day.

ALSO I asked for a relocation package, and I think it will be approved. If it doesn't, I'm not doing it. But I think it will.
