HATE GOING TO THE “DMV”
#1
Well I’m not looking forward having to go to the DMV “in person” again.

The last time 3 years ago I had to go to register my car, that I purchased from
a private party. It took over 5 hours, as the DMV agent gave me wrong info.
Previously, The dealerships always used to register my cars.

This time I (we) have to go to turn in my driver’s license for a Florida license.
I have 90 days to get the Florida license, so I still have over 3 weeks.
I have to call and see if I can make an appointment.

Anyone else dislike going to the DMV?

It's better when you work for the DMV(Title Bureau). I renew my registration online. I can get my license renewed at a 4th floor office. And I had my title in a month and my registration in 2 weeks.

I was going to say "Clang" but he already responded.

I also do mine online. I used to work for the emission test stations where people were required to get a passing test or waiver every 2 years. I heard about it ALL the time!

I also live in a small town and it isn't too much of a hassle to go-they just don't have as many hours. The only time I really had trouble is when I didn't know I had an unpaid parking ticket! That sucked!

That's neat.  Inspections here have to be done by a garage, and usually take about 45 minutes.    My garage is so busy that I just drop the car off for the day and have them call when it's done.

That's how I remember it being in NY.

Yeah, they go down at least once a week. I'm glad I'm not on the phones telling customers "Let me get your information. We will call you back when the computers come back up."

Well we finally got to go to the DMV (by appointment only) yesterday.
We only had to wait 50 minutes, and the agent was actually friendly
and was accommodating, as he asked if I liked my picture and I didn’t
so he took it again, and I got to smile the second time.
Anyway, we are now officially legal Floridians, and we now will be able to
vote in all the elections, here.

Some of our offices are separated and don't do both driver's license and veh registrations.

That seems like a long time, Cars. Is it a small DMV?

Yeah it's like that in the city DMV as well. They don't do all the services at all the DMV. Also some you can just walk in and some you need an appointment.

It was a 40 agent stations DMV, don’t think know if that was small. Clangster how
many Agent stations in your DMV? They had a sign posted apologizing in advance if exact appointment time not met due to some applicants having major issues
With Their paperwork forms. My paperwork was fine, and it still took 25 minutes
to get through the process.
