A pack of gum is 6 bucks, a 6-pack is probably $50 and a pack of smokes is $30. Woooo.

You can buy alcohol at the store, they have a limited supply-
from what I hear one grocery store ships alcohol the other does not....hmmm I wonder how that works tho-since the people that pick up the groceries are not always of age.

Some people ask the boat workers to pick up "stuff" for them also-like alcohol, cigarettes or probably pot also.

I'm going to ask someone about the alcohol thing because I can't remember.

Thanks.
It is a pain. I think it just will take some figuring out-trial and error. I am very grateful to be here.

I ordered chai tea-liquid in the box-they sent me decaf. Ugh, so I wrote to them and they sent me chai tea in tea bag form.

And then I get annoyed at myself becuase I put in my order and then realize I forgot stuff.

I ordered groceries during Covid because I couldn’t stand to go there and watch the bizarre, idiotic shit people were doing. It was a pain in the ass, I’d either forget something or they’d forget something and then I’d end up having to go to the store anyway.

I LOVE the option of ordering groceries online. Love it. There have been moments here & there where they haven't had what I wanted or they have substituted something, but overall it's been a positive experience for me.

The delivery people stunk my groceries up. They always smelled of talc or hand sanitizer or whatever people like to bathe themselves in. My groceries smelled like shit for several months during Covid.

Why am I asking about eggplants like a wierdo? Who took my account? Just kidding.

The summer staff are all leaving for the season and have been dropping food off at my house. Its fun. I wasn't anticipating that.

The power keeps going out. I came home today and I was hungry since I skipped on lunch. I opened a can of olives and then I opened a flavored tuna packet and put it on a tortilla shell with some avocado and sliced cheese.

I am trying to figure out what kinds of foods to have on hand to eat in such situations. Especially without a heat source. It sure was nice to have a wood stove last year.
