I never did learn about any killing. This time my daughter has learned that they killed all the aborigines in Tasmania and how they were hunted down. Quite barbaric and unsettling.
My sister took her kids on a school excursion in Queensland, Moreton Bay or one of those places. This historical Colonel got killed by his men, and my sister had that as a question on a test, 'Who killed Colonel so and so; the answer was 'his soldiers', I think it was something about the Rum Corp, but sure enough, the kids wrote....the aborigines did it!
The highlight of their school excursion, most of them wrote, going to McDonalds.
