I post this knowing I'm probably going to take some heat for this given they are little kids.
Isn't there some criteria for beauty pageants whether they be for kids or adults? If so, shouldn't the very first thing be the fact the participants are beautiful or is that an old fashioned train of thought?
I'm reading the news from back home and I see a headline that says "local beauties headed to NYS pageant". They are 2 sisters about 7-9 years old. Neither one is beautiful or even cute. They both are overweight with round moon faces. Given they both won their age group I can't help but assume the ones who didn't are even more homely than those 2.
I would never say this anywhere but here.

Having to be pretty to win a beauty pageant went out the window with Honey Boo Boo and Mama June.

People who sign their kids up for beauty pageants are a bunch of weirdos anyway.

The two sisters won because they identified as "Beautiful" and their Mom was yelling louder about their beauty than the other Mothers claiming their kids were beautiful, too.
And she also was wearing a pro Jesus/2nd Amendment T-Shirt, too . . . while yelling.
Just curious . . . born or identified as girls? Not that it matters . . . just curious.

Well rothschild, I don't generally go around advertising what an asshole I can be at times. I'm pretty sure referring to chunky little kids as homely & moon faced would remove all doubt.

It's putting them up on a pedestal and saying they're beautiful that I'm referring to.
Yeah, I'm an asshole, too.

Hey . . . you're calling balls and strikes as you see them.
I know you aren't a fan of baseball, but you still gotta respect the ump . . . and yes . . . sometimes they make a bad call, but that doesn't make them an automatic asshole.
I believe your description as being accurate. You know what both beauty and fat, is.
" Strike one . . . you're ugly! " "Strike two . . . you're tubby! " "Strike three . . . so is your Mom!"

Look up the scene from Bad Grandpa where he dresses his grandson up like a girl and takes him to a beauty pageant.

Hilarious. I also like the episode of The Suite Life of Zack and Cody where Cody dresses like a girl to enter a kids beauty pageant to win money for bikes.
