You can probably find the information you're looking for online, rothschild. I don't care enough about it to invest my time in it, but given how public they are it shouldn't be too hard to find what you're looking for.

Yes, Joe's very public with his pathological lying, and no, it isn't very hard to figure out.

Hope you all saw that Joe Rogan tried to say that Biden was demented for talking about soldiers and the Revolution and it turned out POTUS was just speaking about what Trump had said publicly.
What a weirdo Trump is, why would anyone want to bend the knee? I can never understand the cool aid or the insanity.

That was all over social media a day or so ago. Hilarious!
Political people bend the knee because they are scared shitless of his cult. I can't explain why his cult follow him other than they are some of the dumbest people on the face of the earth, 8 out of 10 of them would drown in the shower if they tilt their heads.

Trump has a foul smelly odour, that would be a deal breaker for me. I don't mind if I am at work and it is a patient, they can't help it and are vulnerable.

Rothschild, a cargo ship and an oil tanker just collided in the sea. How the hell could that happen? It’s not like there wasn’t any room to avoid it and ships these days have a tremendous amount of safe guards.

Come on Duchess. You know very well that it was because they had to hire some DEI person and not someone who was qualified. Come on. Woke politics caused 2 ships to collide, even tho it probably hasn't happened in quite a while, it is just happening now because of WOKE politics. Everyone is gay and can't keep their eye on the sea while they are in the wheel house. You know all of those airplane crashes being caused because some woman is on her period somewhere.

Why do so many people think DEI means unqualified? That stuff bugs the shit out of me.
I'm woke and proud of it, thankyouverymch.
I know that's all sarcasm up there, angel baby.

Going back to that cargo vessel that took out the bridge in Baltimore, I believe it was using some sort of 3rd party "smart" navigation system that turned out to not be very smart. My guess is the same is true in this incident. Proprietary systems are generally garbage. That companies tend not to understand this is a testament to being poorly managed.

One possible reason is that the companies doing the hiring are just ticking off checkboxes to be in compliance with targets set by companies like BlackRock.
Another thing to consider is that things like DEI do squat for poor people. If "woke" people haven't figured that out by now, maybe they aren't very woke.

Woke to me just means someone has some fricken empathy & compassion for others. Kindness matters. Respect for others matters.

Nah. I think “woke” went too far. And perhaps DEI as well (although I agree Duchess that just because a person is female or brown or some other box checking characteristic doesn’t mean they’re not qualified). But I think it’s more than just having kindness and empathy because…what about the poor white kid who doesn’t get into a job because there’s a young black woman applying for the same job and she checks a couple boxes while the white kid doesn’t?
The concept was good but I can definitely understand that it was bound to set up a culture/class war among people of all races and genders.
I’m a dreamer I suppose but I like the idea of “judging a person not by the color of their skin (or gender) but by the content of their character” and need and qualifications and talent. I understand affirmative action and how it came to be and why it was necessary and yet I think the pendulum swung a little too far for some.
Plus it became a free speech issue. If someone is kinda forcing you to use “they/them” pronouns and you don’t feel comfortable with that…? There’s some censorship in there.

The term came into being on social media around the time of gamergate, along with "social justice warrior". People referred to themselves with them, but the problem is that social media platforms are basically echo chambers that are about getting "likes" and "followers", which is antithetical to thoughtful discussion.
Being opposed to DEI doesn't necessarily equate to being opposed to diversity, equity or inclusion. The question I have relates to how these terms are defined and how best to go about achieving them. As far as politics goes you're either for DEI or you're against it, no middle ground, no room for discussion, which is one of the reasons I have for hating American politics.

The term "woke" has been around a lot longer than just recently. It was mostly used in the black community. Most didn't have a problem with that. Then when woke came to mean including gay and lesbian maybe some were okay with it to a point, but the moment it came to include trans and drag queens reading to kids in the library is where the line got drawn.
So now if woke means that-peopel don't want to be associated with it at all. Which is a failure for the movements on an individual basis.

Those that oppose it and are vocal about it have made me feel the way I do.

I did not know that. I can only recall hearing about it in the past few years. Having said that, there was a time I was a very shallow person, thinking only of myself in my little bubble so that may explain why I wasn't always familiar with that expression.
