I know those people well. They think free estimate means that my salesman should come out there not once, but 3 more times just to jew him down in the end or not give us the job at all.
Then I have the old bastards that insist on being home while we do the job so they can stand out there and drive my laborers crazy. Then they leave right before the job is done without leaving a check. I have $30,000 worth of work out right now and these fucks are taking their sweet ass time paying it. I always have a check ready when anyone does work on my home. I want to kill these people and their whole fucking family : :

Not even the Brothers show up at my house without a call first. My Mom doesn't, my sister doesn't; NO ONE does. They know better. ::gunner:: Yup, unannounced, uninvited...She knows that we always open our home to friends on game day & she does not take the hint that I don't want her here, now I am being forced to be rude, damnit !! Trust me, you will not feel bad for doing it. Mock has given you powers in the 'real world' you've yet to use.

Speeds up the process nicely. ::thumbs::

I just let my dogs handle it.
They each can grab an ankle of the dope and "make a wish".

Racking a shotgun says "here is where I am" and says "open fire before I do".Racking a shotgun puts you in a position of being reactive instead of proactive and takes away your position of control. You are MUCH better off having an already chambered, sound supressed submachine gun and night vision.
I highly recommend each and every person that thinks a hostile condition could happen in their lives read Sun Tzu's The Art of War.

I highly recommend each and every person that thinks a hostile condition could happen in their lives read Sun Tzu's The Art of War. Everyone knows its not tactically sound, but how many people do you think are that bright and resort to robbing houses? If it was someone I was really worried about it would be a different story. The shotgun is all about the effect. SWAT teams and cops don't really hold their lights right next to their guns either, but its a much better effect for television than holding it at arms length.

Well, maybe about some things I am a total fool......yanno, Moose?

I don't know any LEO in SWAT teams, so I do not know SOP for any SWAT organizations. I do think though that most SWAT teams believe in using the right equipment for the right mission. As such, there would be no need for flashlights at all - everything would be Generation III or Generation IV night vision systems. Flashlights and 9mm sidearms are what security guards carry when they are looking for wild wolves in a fenced in lot.
