Overslept until 8am, decided to take a personal day from work on this cold, rainy day.

On days I don't have to get up my eyes go (((BOING)))) and I'm wide awake early, on days I need to be up I don't want to leave my little nest in my bed. Go figure.

At least today is a slow day. I stayed home right until the last minute, ate breakfast, did chores, listened to a podcast, took a nice long shower and came in to work right at opening. I never do that. Feels kind of good.

Office is open. But I took another personal day off today. Because the holiday falls on a Saturday we don't get a day off we get a 7.5 hour holiday credit to use at a later date.

I slept in until about 7:30am. Then I had to go out and move my car even though I stayed home from work. Hope I don't need any personal days for the winter or next few months. I used up my 5^th and last one until August 31^st 2024.

Yes, I still get holiday pay. Just as a 7.5 hour credit to use as a day off at a later date. I used my last personal day today. We only get 5 a year. I won't get more until August 31^st, the day I started working for the Title Bureau, 8 years ago.
