Neither would Archie Bunker!!    I remember growing up hearing him call the son-in-law (or whatever) a faggot and, it was like okay at the time!!! I mean a lot of stuff that used to be okay isn’t anymore (and mostly I see that as progress although a word can become politically incorrect almost too quickly and people expect everyone to just change on a dime).

When my kids were very little, saying “that’s so gay” was a regular occurrence and then this poor kindergartener I knew said it to someone on the playground and BAM! He was suspended for a day. 

I was told over a year ago that “Hispanic” isn’t appropriate anymore (I think the person who said it said Latino or Latina or something was P.C. now). I told her I’d stop using the term when my local Safeway stopped having a Hispanic food aisle anymore. Still waiting on that one. 

Generally speaking I believe in the old adage “sticks and stones…” and I think we spend more time than we should hung up on certain words. Not to say that all sensitivity should go by the wayside but…I think things can get blown way out of proportion.

I like me some RAP music and I can sing the “n word” happily along with some songs but god forbid I ever use it in conversation. My son’s b/f is black tho and he can say it to him in jest periodically no problem. It’s like me calling a g/f a bitch; it means nothing. But say it in the wrong place/context? Heaven forbid!

I did and it was depressing. It was obvious that Jake Paul had to hold back from beating up an old man. It oddly reminded me of the movie Whatever happened to Baby Jane.

I watched about 3 minutes. I kept skipping ahead but there was nothing to see. Who pays for this shit, the same people that buy Trump sneakers?

I saw some people talking about it online and then I watched a clip of what appeared to be the younger guy showing some respect to the old one, he bowed to him. Most of the comments I read talked about the sucky buffering on Netflix.

I asked because I've seen you post about fights before.

I have somehow broken every single fingernail this week.  I am down to the quick and it's pissing me off.

I have weak nails. Always have. No matter what I eat or consume-like people tell me to take certain stuff to make them better.

I like using those fake press on nails-the kind with the peel back-not the glue type. Especially in the winter when my nails and hangnails are the worst. You can get super simple ones or super elaborate. I always get compliments on them.

The other 3 fights were alot more interesting. Tyson just wanted his $20 million. Jake Paul just wanted his legacy to not be beating a boxing legend to a bloody pulp. What a sad, embarrassing end to Tyson's boxing legacy.Well at least I can remember the funny Tyson from the Hangover movies.

Boston is the capital of Massachusetts, and is also the central hub for any travelers coming to the New England area.  Massachusetts also has taxes that no other state in the area has.

I have not been down there for almost 15 years.  My father lives in a sub-berb of Boston,  he's 80 years old, and I still make him drive north to meet me somewhere.

That being said, Boston is a tourist attraction, so everything is going to be super expensive.  15 years ago, I paid almost $10 for a bottle of water.
