On a different note, the grandbrats are at an age where they only want money for Christmas. Last year, I put the money in little plastic cubes, which I encased in plaster of paris. This year, I ordered annoyance boxes. Imagine my annoyance when I realized I'm going to have to screw in 738 screws in order to give them their presents

What about just doing a scavenger hunt for them? Notes and clues all over the house/yard…make them find it. I would NOT annoy myself with 738 screws. Commando Cunt Queen

Did anyone see the headline that stated some insurance companies won't pay for your anesthesia if the procedure goes over the allotted time?

I imagine they wouldn’t turn the stuff off but instead stick the patient with some hefty bill. Insurance sucks. We have the most expensive PPO plan offered by my husband’s company but in California at least, more and more Drs. are refusing to accept insurance altogether. The amounts the insurers are willing to reimburse them has just made it absurd. Plus we don’t have any GPs or Family Physicians left; they’re all moving into specialties. My daughter had knee surgery and I’m sure the Dr (facility) overcharged and the insurer under reimbursed. The charge was around $44k and insurance paid them around $9k (we’d already met the deductible and stuff so if we paid anything it was maybe $400? That’s a huge disparity. Trying to feel sympathy for the United Healthcare exec shot. Read this morning that the shell casings appeared to be inscribed with “deny” and “delay”. The guy didn’t deserve to die but the healthcare system is definitely broken. Commando Cunt Queen

No . . . but I read that uninsured illegals don't need permission from their PCP or "non-insurer" to get procedures that are denied to the insured. Ain't that a kick in the head.

So that was 'Blue Cross/Blue Shield', and only for Connecticut, new york, and Missouri. They have since rescinded their statement.

Like this fellow's take on the CEO shooting. No too sure about Attorneys On Retainer.

It gets more interesting. United Healthcare was under investigation by the US Senate.
Looks like Brian Thompson's business model was denial of care.

I'm seeing a lot of people stopping just short of saying you reap what you sow. Not you, rothschild, the CEO.

It would have been a GREAT story if he’d survived but his insurance denied or delayed some of his treatment.

It's now been a few days since he was murdered and people are still talking about it, some with great glee. I'm a little freaked out seeing that. Murder is horrible, I don't think it's something to be celebrated, but I understand why it is by some. *sigh* Some of the stories out there about the (preventable) deaths of loved ones are heartbreaking, especially the children's.

It's infuriating and it looks like this person took matters into his own hands because no one else is going to do anything about it.

Wait, so if trump was shot dead on the street, you'd be horrified? I doubt it.

My son’s BF from around age 11 is getting a donor kidney on Wednesday (no theft involved, Sally). 24 years old and he’s been on dialysis 3 days a week for two years. The two of them lived between our house and his growing up (only a block or so apart) so I consider him a second son (like I know his mom considers mine).
He was a skater like my son until he got sick. Tony Hawk sent him well wishes on his IG post about it today. ?. ?. Hoping the transplant is a 100% success and he can get back to some degree of normalcy. Commando Cunt Queen
