What types of onions do you use the most?

I tend to use green onions and shallots and purple onion for cooking.

I am curious what people use white/yellow/purple onions for the most.

I normally use purple onions raw for things like salads, salsa and burgers and white or yellow onions for cooking.

Yep, I don't think it causes reflux the way other ordinary onions do either. Not expensive and works well in a salad or on a salad sandwich.
