Why yes I did, when I was younger. 
I grew tomatoes, corn, peppers, basil- wife is Italian and loves fresh basil, potatoes. 
When older, I just grew tomatoes. Thanks for asking, I enjoyed it, especially when crop
turned out very successful. (Basil was hard, damn bugs ate some of the leaves)
