Oh, there's unicorns involved, but not blow up ones. He decided the granddaughters need matching unicorn necklaces. He ordered 3 of them from Amazon. 35 bucks a piece for cheap ass unicorn necklaces. The granddaughters are 15, 18, and 22. I can't even, with this smuck anymore.
I have our finances listed out and budgeted to the penny and my asshole husband throws a 200 dollar balloon arch and 100 bucks worth of cheap shit from China at me. Meh, he's lucky that I love him.
Jeff Bezos and China are happy.

In fields of green, where magic is seen,
A unicorn necklace glimmers serene,
With balloon arches, a wondrous scene,
Their beauty entwines, like a dream.
The unicorn's mane, a rainbow hue,
Dances in the breeze, so fair and true,
And balloons, in shades of red and blue,
Create an arch, that's a sight anew.
With every step, the unicorn takes,
A burst of balloons, it makes,
And as it prances, the arch unfolds,
A symphony of colors, so bold.
The necklace, a symbol of grace,
Adorns the unicorn's neck, a perfect place,
And balloon arches, a whimsical sight,
Together, they create a true delight.

Are they going to wear matching unicorn necklaces? They aren't 2, 5 & 8, they are young women.

I doubt that they are going to wear them, but I am hoping that they at least thank the dumbass, and not let him see when they throw them away.
His thought process was a 'welcome to the family ' token gift. The older 2 aren't our biological grands. He picked out matching gifts for the boys, too. They are getting swiss army knives.

I completely understand that. I wasn't belittling his choice, having only brothers I know how much differently men think as compared to women.

I have a Swiss Army knife I carry in my handbag, but it has way more accessories on it than yours does.
