There is mass hysteria nearly everywhere I look. I don't feel like that is an exaggeration.

His mind is shot and it's only going to get worse. Stress makes it worse. Is anyone expressing concern about his health? Does anyone care?

I'm more concerned about his party's inability to deal with this appropriately than I am about his incompetence, tho. A lot more. Fuck people's concerns about Harris, Lufuck the election and the Trump hysteria, power should be transferred. The fact that this isn't being done is just one more example of how broken and corrupt our political system is.

You're right on many counts. However, sadly as the current situation exists, we can only choose between the lesser of what we believe is the lesser of the two evils.

Evil 1. Senile old timer, who hopefully will listen to his advisors.

Evil 2. Lunatic Dictator, who will ignore and or change the laws and rules as they exist, to suit his whims.

There is an option you are ignoring; that option isn't at all evil!

Put the federal government back in its limited role through an Article V convention of states for proposing amendments. Then it won't matter who the president is or who is on the Supreme Court.

It would be unrealistic to think that would ever happen.

COSA is at 19 states right now; we need 34. I'm betting that when we get to 28 or 29, Congress will act just as they have for the 27 existing amendments. They will see the handwriting on the wall and try to appease "We the People."
