Free Karen Read, a tale of corruption, confusion, and cover ups
#1
I'm going to have to break this up into a few posts, because it's a long ass story, and it isn't over yet.

Brief History, before trial,  taken from: https://www.nbcboston.com/news/local/kar...e/3344780/

more to come, sorry I'm being so slow.  It would be a lot faster if I could just fucking copy pasta.   Damn it, LC would have been all over this shit!

Note the October 11 date.  Turtleboy is a very popular blog in New England.  He started out as Turtleboy Sports, then switched up to blogging about entitled Karens and welfare trash Wt  He is one of the podcast bloggers (that Roth mentioned), who blew the case open

so this concludes the basic time line of events before the trial is scheduled to start.   There's a few other screen shots I need to grab, about pre trial bullshit,  basically dealing with witness intimidation, and the DA going after turtleboy, due to him rallying support for Karen Read.

Also Note, I've Seen Read's last name spelled with both READ and REID in several articles,  but it seems the majority of the articles spell it as READ, so that's what I'm going with.

I don't mind taking the time to post about it,  unfortunately there's a shit ton of information online,  and trying to sift through it all, and post the important shit is going to take a bit of time.   I'm distracted easily,  and my new neighbor popped in to bitch about my party last weekend.   Now I have to take my dog to the vet (yearly shots are due).  I'll be back later Smiley_emoticons_smile

Did at least one of those cops try to frame her?

All of the cops involved have tried to frame her from day 1. The lead investigator posted texts in a group chat that were vile. The outrage has forced the state police to suspend him without pay. He'll probably get sacked. The FBI is investigating so he and others may end up being prosecuted.

The lead investigator is good friends with the family responsible for O'Keefe's death. O'Keefe was found on the front yard of a Boston police officer. Dewd never came out of his house when the responders showed up, didn't come out the whole time they were there, and O'Keefe was a fellow cop. Says all that needs to be said, IMO. He didn't even bother to pretend that he gave a shit.

O'Keefe was beaten to death, injuries to his face and head, dog bites on his arm. No question at all he was inside the house when this occurred. The people involved claim he was never in the house. The judge has ties with some of these people. The latest is that she never bothered to ask the jury if they'd reached a verdict on any of the charges before declaring a mistrial. 4 Jurors have contacted the defense saying the jury acquitted on the murder charge. Auntie Bev is as dirty as the cops involved in this shitshow, IMO.

Man. That must have been terrifying to know all those law enforcement officers were trying to railroad her into prison.

This is fucked up. So was the house that the dead man was left at his sister's house? Was she the one who looked up how long it takes to die in the snow?

Everything went down at Brian Albert's home. Jen McCabe is his sister-in-law.

Sorry to hear that. There are some cabin owners that come up for a weekend or a week and some purposely don't have internet. I didn't have the heart to tell them any of the news.

I just saw a headline saying the judge has declined to dismiss this murder case after the mistrial in July. This seems like a big deal and waaaay over the top.
