I just send my pictures to Mirah lol. I'll send her one of my husband's stupid shower. It plays music and lights up, all of us could fit in there and have an orgy.

Wow I missed a lot. I always wanted to be someone who listens to music in the morning in the shower, but I'm too quick.

We just remodeled our bathroom as the shower pan cracked, the only thing I insisted on was a proper door we did the half glass on the other shower and water goes fucking everywhere.

Is that the tub we are looking at? Is there any bench in the shower? That looks dangerous! But honestly it looks beautiful, but maybe a little bland, I have to go read the entire thread tho to see also why you don't like it besides cleaning it.

THAT’S HUGE SALLY! And yeah, it looks like both the tub and shower are in their own glass enclosed area? It reminds me a bit of what we had (color and body jets!) at our last house but on steroids, lol. Don’t mind the light but could we please make it a soft, candle light white? Is that a hand held sprayer on the floor of the shower? I suppose u could put ur foot on that for shaving? 
The body jets. I won’t get those again. They sounded good but in practice I didn’t like get pounded by water in all directions showering. And it makes soaping up near impossible so on the few occasions I used them it was only for rinsing off. The only jets I want are in the hot tub.

Definitely could have an orgy in there. I can barely turn around in mine so I’d be very happy with something 1/3^rd of the size of yours. I doubt we’ll do double shower heads. Even early in my marriage showering together was only something we did sometimes (and it wasn’t about the shower). The rest of the time both of wanted the space to ourselves. 

If we decide to keep a tub it will likely be something similar to what you have. Our current built in Roman tub and surround looks pretty but has a giant footprint. Why they put that in next to a tiny shower is baffling. I could sort of switch them around except for windows. We’d have to reduce them in size and make them more eye level or something. My contractor was like “you have tons of privacy” which we do until people like him or the gardeners or my son’s buddies are around. Not taking a shower next to a regular sized clear window. I suppose we could get frosted glass or something.

Fuck if I know. I want to off load the project and just come home when it’s done.

We did glass doors on our last shower and had the same problem. It was a stupid mistake by the contractor at the time. He didn’t seal them well and worse, he didn’t tilt the threshold sufficiently so the water would run back into the shower. It was almost flat so some went in and some went out on the floor. And of course if u don’t keep them clean they eventually develop water/calcium spots.

I’ve visited a few places where the showers had no doors but I imagine u need a crap ton of space to accomplish that. Sally, can’t tell…is there a door on yours or just the one to the right of the bathtub?

@Mirah, I like the cabinet too but a bookshelf with no shelves? Lol. And it does look like it belongs in a white country type room. If it were pine colored it might work a little better?

IDK but yes it’s pretty and yeah, I don’t know how it’s going to work for you.

Probably mentioned this before but besides being co-trustee on my mom’s estate, I’ve been the executor and trustee of my aunt’s estate in Ohio for roughly 18 months now.

Every damn time I think I’m wrapping that up, SOMETHING pops up. Found out this morning that my Aunt never completed a life insurance claim for her husband who pre deceased her by two years. Now I gotta follow that trail and see where it leads. 

On my mom’s side, my sister decided to abscond with all my mom’s recipes. I told her that was going to cost her a half million, lol (kidding). I care but don’t care (I mean I might want a few old family recipes but…my brother is irritated). It was stupid on her part because now she lives in the boondocks and has to figure out how she’s going to “share” recipes and she’s complaining about that. Dumbass. If you hadn’t taken all of them, u wouldn’t be in this position.
