An x-ray today revealed my foot is healing. I asked the Dr if my fractures were “indivisible” yet but she wasn’t willing to go that far. Regardless I get to graduate to hiking boots but I have to keep the cement block boot handy cuz if I get any pain she wants me to go back to wearing it. I’ve decided to wear the cement block through the airport tomorrow cuz people give me a wide berth and it’s an obvious sign as to why I’m moving fucking slowly through the TSA checkpoint.

I’ll try the hiking boots when I get to So Cal.

There’s a thing at some rugby after parties called “shooting the boot”. It involves the “honor” of drinking from a teammate’s stinky boot after a game. In my youth I was called on to shoot the boot after one of my husband’s games. Of course I did it (gagging a little now remembering).

Yeah although I drank from a player’s actual boot not long after he finished the game. 

How could I not? The gauntlet was thrown down. I don’t remember what kind of beer it was but I think RC’s right…a stout might pair well with sweat and mud and grass.

I really shouldn’t complain about travel. Two astronauts went on a (roughly) 8 day trip that turned into roughly 8 months and they left 17 hours ago. Splashed down in the gulf of MEXICO and shortly they’ll travel by helicopter to Florida and then hop on a flight to Houston later tonight. 

Talk about jet lag.

RH furniture is some real rich people shit, guess I won't be shopping there unfortunately. I went to the one in Orlando and that cloud feather couch is amazing.
