On our honeymoon me and Mrs. Biggie took a no doors helicopter ride, turned out me and the pilot had a mutual friend, my skydiving teacher who had lost a leg in india taking a motorcycle around the world. He later died doing a demo jump into the winter nationals hot rod event. I had a bunch of instructors and almost everyone of them died early.

Got an email from my mom’s church that she’d been sponsoring a young girl in Nepal for several years (knew about it vaguely). 
Anyway I immediately said my husband and I would take over sponsorship of Pemba.
Sent my husband an email telling him we’d “adopted” and he wrote back:
“Nice. You realize 81% of the population there is Hindu”.

I asked him later, so what’s your beef (har, har) with Hindus? 
He pointed out we were sponsoring a kid through a Christian organization that’s likely arm twisting people to convert.
Fuck. But I was brought up Lutheran! Not an in your face group. Sigh. Oh well.

Didn’t occur to me either. I hate it when he’s ahead of me. 
I got a follow up email about the Pastor who coordinates the work in Nepal. Apparently he spends a lot of time indoors/hiding out (subject to quite some hate from many there). God bless him, lol. I’ll have to read up now but all I care about is…my new daughter, Pemba.

We had a landscape/gardener for a couple years who came in on fire and did a great job and then he/his crew slowly grew smaller and worked less (and wanted extra money for things) so I let him go and hired a new outfit.

18 months in and this guy (and his crew) are starting to do the same damn thing (in a big way). Wants to charge me ridiculous amounts for goddamn weed whacking and shit.
