Are any of you an organ donor?
I have a very weird hangup about that. I want to be an organ donor, but I'm always concerned that I will be jixing myself. I know how ridiculous that is, but my own mind is capable of fucking with me more than any human.

I am not. By the age I started considering it I sort of figured my organs are/were somewhat beat up and useless.
Lately I’ve been reading some disturbing reports of a messed up donation system where some hospitals might be acting a little hastily to harvest organs. The system needs to get tightened up.
My son’s b/f from childhood (my “second son”) received a kidney from a living donor (in a swap program) in December.
My aunt and uncle both donated their bodies to science which I admire but no way in hell would I want my body picked apart by a bunch of med school students.

Not a an organ donor but I should be. A female med student sticking my corpse penis into their vagina is the closest I'll probably get to having sex.

I heard a story about women being trafficked for their eggs. I can see poor people having their organs harvested under Trump. He's telling the homeless in DC to get out. To where, one of their new detention centers, or to be slave laborers to replace the migrants they're rounding up?

I can see that too (things are just that crazy). I don’t know the statistics but aren’t a lot of homeless people either suffering from addiction or mental illness? I can’t see those folks out picking strawberries.
If poor people are taken advantage of for organs, I wonder how Trump would tax that?
The sale of organs is interesting (in a sick way). I mean guys get paid for sperm “donations”, right? And surrogate mothers are compensated. I don’t know dollar amounts but back when my son’s friend was on the waiting list for a kidney for a couple years, as young as he was, there was no end in sight. The barter system is odd. His dad was able to donate a kidney to a stranger and two months later a stranger donated to Chris. Better than taking advantage of someone desperate for money but I wonder (with proper guardrails in place, physical, psychological and economic…). Yeah, never mind that. Only people with money would get the kidneys. Isn’t workable. Probably already happens on the down low. Blurg.
