Patrick Swayze has died
#1
This is just breaking that Patrick Swayze has died. I liked him in Dirty Dancing...he was a great dancer. I hear he learned a lot from his mom who was a dance instructor.

Astounding, isn't it ?...One of our equine vets' wife spent most of her days hooked up to oxygen {because of a smoking related illness}but, would take those prongs outta her nose to go hide & sneak a smoke...Those things must be as addicting as crack.

Shut the fuck up.

If you are diagnosed with something like cancer you would do everything in your power to prolong your life including stopping smoking/drinking etc, the fact he continued smoking just proves what a sad addict he was.

So to add to your other talents you also happen to be an oncologist?

Swayze's doctors WOULD have advised him to stop smoking your drooling mongoloid.

He was diagnosed 20 months ago if smoking had anything to do with his cancer why did he not get esophageal cancer or lung cancer? Every doctor tells you to stop smoking. I have not smoked in 8 months and do not condone it in any way, but in this case it would not have made any difference. Now go wash your eyes out with rubbing alcohol and re-read this twice Oh MightyOozing Piehole.

No........YOU are claiming that I am saying that I am an oncologist, needledick. When in fact I never said such a thing. And with a bit of research I have found that pancreatic cancer IS caused mostly by smoking. But it still does not change the matter, of smoking after being diagnosed. Neither me,you, or any doctor can say that it would change any diagnosis or make the cancer any better or worse. It is an accumulative effect much like the brain cells that are now exiting your skull via your anus.

I suggest going back to smoking douchebag, anything that increases the chances of you dying sooner rather than later is fine by me.

Couple of points here. My mom was a heavy smoker. Back in the mid 70s, when she was diagnosed with bladder cancer, her doc told her to quit smoking--which she did, for a while. But then when he could not assure her that her smoking directly caused her cancer, or that quiting would help her live beyond the, at the time, 5 year life expectancy, she pretty much said fuck it, I am smoking. She did not smoke as much, but she started again. And BTW..died just a few weeks short of the 5 year anniversary of her diagnosis.

Another point...Dana Reeve (Christophers wife) who never smoked a day in her life, died from lung cancer.

I do not smoke, and do not condone smoking...but it just seems for every "smoking causes cancer" argument, there is a rebuttal.

I believe that smoking DOES exasperate the possibility of cancer. But I also believe that genetics plays just as important a role in cancer also. My point from the beginning has been that quitting smoking would not have changed a thing in Patrick's case. But poophole would never admit that that is the case here. He will go on and on never conceding, that is his blind objection complexrearing it's ugly head. Oh well. Never say die right?Even when wrong. That does not make him a bad person..........just British.Smiley_emoticons_biggrin

You obviously had access to Swayze's medical records and notes to know this "fact" yes?

Doctors would not have advised him to quit if it wasn't going to make any difference fuckhole.
