Back on topic - To add to my original post in this thread. The Day The Earth Stood Still might go on my WORST of 2008 movie list. It sucked.

But it still has Keanu in it and he's just so damn pretty.

Yes he is! I liked him best in Speed and Lake House.

seriously now - he is the most wooden, UNemotional, boring, no personality, no charisma, no personality actor I have ever seen. If you need a piece of wood for a movie, he is the perfect actor for the roll. I just don't understand who told him to loose all the personality he had in early films like Speed and others. Watching him in this movie is literally like watching an oak tree grow over 100 years.

Agreed, he is by far the worst A-list actor in Hollywood and has been for some time.
He brings a big fat zero to every role he plays, remember back in the Bill and Ted days when he appeared to have a personality?
I have no interest in seeing the Day the earth stood still remake, the original is a classic and a personal favourite and when I saw the trailer for the remake featuring Reeves and the usual CGI wank I knew I would be giving it a miss.
