Peter Luger - Peter Luger Steak House Old Fashioned Sauce Peter Luger Steak House Old Fashioned Sauce Now you can enjoy the taste of world-famous Peter Luger's Old Fashioned Steak Sauce... it is a bit sweet, but after i tried it a couple times i began to like it.
I don't use steak sauce either, Lumpy. It does ruin a good chunk of meat.
I also like my meat pan seared instead of on the grill. Rub coarse or sea salt and pepper into it, toss it onto a very hot pan with a drop of oil and seal in that outer coating to a nice 'crunchy' texture. Inside, screaming bloody rare.
Try putting sprigs of fresh rosemary or dill under the meat when searing! OMG it's to die for.
Eat with just a little salt if needed but you are not going to get a steak to taste any better than this!
I agree about good steak ... I make high quality rib eyes, and I eat my steak with just some rock salt on it half the time, to enjoy just the steak basically ... and the other half I use Peter Luger sauce just because I love it so much and it makes the meet sweeter, so I enjoy it.
Everyone thought I was crazy for putting a wood burning oven in my kitchen, but they don't complain when I invite them over for dinner. I make better steaks in there than any steak house I've been to.
