Hmmmmmm...........Robin can be truly nauseating if done wrongly, see the piece of shit that was Batman Forever ::bs::.
Orginally they were going to re-do Robin as a mechanic/engineer/designer who worked behind the scenes with Batman developing weapons/equipment etc but Lucius Fox fills that role in the current franchise.
I for one would prefer the Batman to be a lone dark knight. Robin is fine in the comic book but I don't think he could be effectively re-imagined as part of the current franchise. I suppose they could go down the route of Frank Millers Dark knight returns and make Robin a girl.
I agree about the Lucius Fox character and Morgan Freeman playing him. He has been an excellent addition to the story line
I like Lucius but I'm still not too sure about Michael Caine as Alfred.
We need to punish the French, ignore the Germans and forgive the Russians - Condoleezza Rice.

I actually think Caine has been brilliant as Alfred. He seems to embody the part and I see a certain enjoyment he brings to playing the character. The little upturned smile, heartfelt story. I believe the character I guess is what I am saying.

Ledger wins the Golden Globe and is now expected to win the Oscar also. Let the avalanche of awards begin for the dead guy. He deserves it.
