Id cards are fucking useless in stopping terrorism, Spain has had ID cards for years and they did nothing to stop the Madrid bombing. If the UK government bring them in which isactually looking less likely now if you now anything about the political climate in the UK they would be on a voluntary basis only making them fucking useless. ID cards basically turn the task of stopping terrorism into a game of Guess who" - "Has he got blond hair?", "no", "has he got brown hair?", "yes", "has he got a beard?", "yes", "is his name Mohammed?.
