I can't bring myself to board a plane. Wah!
I was invited to the Canary Islands & couldn't even work up the balls for that. It's so pathetically pathetic. Ugh.
I'd love to come, you are going to have a fantastic time & I'd like to enjoy it with you.

So, for what it's worth, my wife and I file our taxes with a CPA who also happens to fly chartered jets for professional sports teams.
We were relating our horrible turbulence stories (from Hawaii) to him, and he mentioned that a jet has never crashed due to turbulence, i.e., wings falling off, etc.
He also said if the plane were to come apart you'd pass out before realizing much anyway.
I don't know if that puts you more at ease or not, Duchess, but he made it sound like you had nothing to worry about, and if something catastrophic WERE occurring, you wouldn't even know it.

Years ago, a mother on one of my kid's soccer team said her brother worked for FAA (whatever the federal gov't aviation agency) and one of his duties was to transcribe the black boxes found after crashes. He told her the most haunting was to hear the screams....yikes....sorry Duchess...I fly frequently but that's always stuck with me thinking of the fear they must feel while going down...
Spay and neuter your dogs and cats. Ban gas chambers in your local shelters. User made the call. User made a difference!

Sounds like the narrator of a porn flick.

We were on a flight to Colorado once and the engine stalled, or what sounded like the engine stalling anyway. That was my first flight and I thought that maybe it was normal, but I looked around and the rest of the passengers looked as scared shitless as I was. Then I heard it start up again. I don't know if it was the engine or something else, but I've been on several flights since then and never experienced anything like it.

If you have ever flown a military flight the rest are cakewalks.

Nah...I guess if it's my time, it's my time. I would rather die in a plane crash than drown, or burn to death. And I won't have to go back to work on the 26 th...
It better wait till the return flight though...
That takes me back to the time I was on my way to the Detroit airport to go to Cancun...it was raining and it started to freeze on the road and I didn't know it. I just passed a semi and my car started spinning out of control right in the middle of the inteterstate...I think it spun 3 times before I ended up in the medium.I can still see the headlights on that semi to this day. That has to be the closest I've ever came to literally shitting my pants.
FUCK...now I've jinxed myself and I'm gonna DIE!!!

I've never been on a military flight and don't want to.
I'm not the most adventurous person in the world. I went jet skiing once and a group of 80 year old ladies from the resort were passing me up.

It's a lot cheaper now and better quality.

Mine hasn't gotten cheaper but the quality has been consistently excellent for probably the last 3-4 years.
