A thought a gallon was a gallon?

When I use this = $, I mean dollars.

When I use this = £, I mean pounds.

Can you get your Aussie brainpan around that one, you dill?

The Antagonist Wrote:I sold my bike too soon! I drive a diesel and it's over $5 a gallon here in the Republik where I live.

Fucking bullshit taxes because our lovely governor thinks diesel should be taxed higher for environmental reasons. NO bio diesel is here. BUT the price I paid for my truck and it's ability to burn clean has no bearing on the price gouging they're shoving down our throats.

It's not wall street making the gas decision, granted the speculators there are driving prices up, but it's our wonderful Congress who thinks it should remain illegal for us to drill for our own oil on our own lands.

Then by that same twisted standard of bullshit, they think it's OK to drill in someone else's back yard for it and turn it around and complain when they squeeze our balls.

How about we just tell the Arabs to fuck themselves and actually demand we do something about it? Most regular citizens I know are just plain sheep. They buy into the bullshit, then they sit and wait for the slaughter and take it because someone told them to.

NO ONE has balls to make a change anymore. NO ONE is willing to make a few sacrifices to get the ball rolling. They want it all, and they want someone to make their wishes happen for them while they sit idly in the fields munching grass.

Get us back on the gold standard and we'll rule the world once again. Whatever Nixon was thinking taking us off it I'll never understand. It's obviously not working.

We will have a few tough years if we do demand this switch but is it not worth a bit of inconvenience? For shits sake! we're totally inconvenienced NOW anyway, why not another couple years?

I'll tell you why not! SHEEP don't like change. SHEEP are lazy. And top it off, we got all the old HIPPIES now running Congress! That's right, hippies. Socialists in disguise as Americans. Ball-less lumps of shit who think that the world needs peace and love and have managed to make America look like assholes to the world.

What happened to American Balls? America used to say fuck you to anyone who told us what to do. We became America because we said FUCK YOU and did it twice when Great Britain thought they'd try again.

We need to get FUCK YOU back into our blood.
That was one of the best fucking posts I've ever read. Ever. For me, anyway. It hits upon so many things I feel strongly about, and you have the same view while saying it the way it needs to be said. I've said a few similar things before in debates, such as it has been too long since we have really had to fight for our freedom so we are complacent sheep. We need some revolution threat, some fuck you back in our blood as you say. We seem to have bullshit leaders in and out of Congress and too many citizens are not taking the umbrella issues seriously enough. Perhaps the problem is too many, if not most, are really uneducated about it. I know I was ignorant of this shit only 9 years ago or so.

Most people are right handed so it makes sense to have your strongest hand always on the steering wheel.

Driving on the left goes back to feudal times where roads were used by horses, always keeping to the left left your sword hand free to defend yourself.

See Aussie?, thats called history and culture! something of which you have no understanding of or concept of.

Yes, the more people who absorb these notions to at least think about, the better. The net reaches a lot of people, including voters.

They are relevant to her POINT, not current events, dumb ass. The point was that we need back the spirit of revolution, of us saying NO to tyranny and corruption, to us being willing to go all the way, far more united than we are now, to stop the BS going on.

Give me ONEexample of how you have more freedom than me?

You are a typical arrogant belligerent yank.

All mouth no trousers.

Your consumermist capitalist society will never have the gumption to undertake the kind of revolution you are talking about.

Finger, we agree on so many things.

How many times do we need to spank these people? They just don't get it. And worse, some don't know how to understand the content of what they read!

I'm surprised at you OP.... you're usually better at reading.

Well if you don't know the basic difference between an Imperial gallon and a US gallon, how the fuck am I to assume you can find a pound symbol on your American layout keyboard? Can you get your typical dogmatic British narrow mind over that?

Sorry, but that was how the events 250 years ago related to her comments - it is all about the vigilant guard and position of boss we citizens were charged with. You don't get that because your Country didn't start off saying fuck you to archaic crap like royalty, and your Country didn't have to band together to resist tyranny and create a new system that puts the individual above Government. That is why you make a lot of the dumb ass comments you make. Give the Queen a kiss for me.

Quote:Give me ONE example of how you have more freedom than me?
My system of Government doesn't recognize a Queen as being above any citizen?

Quote:You are a typical arrogant belligerent yank. All mouth no trousers.
How so? I was merely explaining how old events connect to today. There are certain universal principles of freedom America was founded upon and our founders recognized. They are still valid today.

Quote:Your consumermist capitalist society will never have the gumption to undertake the kind of revolution you are talking about.
I was not recommending a revolutionary war per se, but I do think we need to unite on the issues talked about by The Antagonist and vote accordingly. Besides, wasn't that her point? That Americans (consumerist capitalist society, your words) are being like sheep? You agree with her there. That's just one more reason your post was ridiculous.

Wow, the fish are certainly biting today!

I don't like the royal family, I hate them as you well know, I am member of more than one organisation that wants the monarchy abolished, so I will ignore all your pathetic little digs about the queen, I didn't elect her. You did however elect that fucking primate Bush TWICE, he didn't even technically win the second election yet he is still in power and the American people do fuck all about it!, so maybe your system isn't as perfect as you think it is?

Ok you don't have a queen........well done?, please explain to me how the queen in anyway restricts or interferes with my own personal freedom?

Some people would consider calling someone a Brit asshole belligerent, having said that name calling and personal attacks are required so....:

Yes I agree with sentiment posted about the US citizenry not having the gonads to start a revolution.I just don't think an internet forum is the place to be if you genuinely want to start any real changes, get a placard, get some like minded people get into the faces of politicians, e-mail them constantly, send them a letter everyday telling them they won't get away with taking the piss. Get a petition, organize a march, no revolutions have been started on the internet was the point I was trying to make.

OP, the first step is getting people to know what is going on and educate them. The point we are all agreeing upon is that American citizens are currently too complacent for that. That is why your adverse reaction to recent posts is silly.

As for how I am more free than you? You don't like the Queen answer, eh? The Queen answer is important because the whole trick in history has been to get Governments to stop recognizing royalty and put the principles of freedom and individual rights as paramount. Royalty is inherently at odds with it, so I mentioned it because your Government is not embracing the priniples of freedom fully if they have not yet rejected the obnoxious anti-freedom institution of royalty. As for other examples - your gun ban law of 1997 is all I need to point to.

Great you can tool yourself up with some of the worlds deadliest firearms, whoopy doo ! blowing each other away with guns is not a freedom I particularly want thanks. The gun laws were brought in by the government not the queen, the queen is a figurehead of the government nothing more, she and her parasitic family have no constitutional power whatsoever. Sorry if that spoils your fantasy of the UK being some kind of feudal dictatorship.

It costs the average British citizen 60 pence a year to pay for the royal family and yes I object to having to pay that 60 pence. Unfortunately the British citizenry have taken up too many American imports (complacency, obesity, obssessive consumerism, selfishness) to do anything about the monarchy.

::lmao:: Your citizens PAY money to the ROYAL family! Listen, few things crack me up more than someone from ENGLAND, the place we gave the finger to because of that anti-freedom royal bullshit, commenting on America like you do. It's especially funny to read shit from the likes of you about firearms - not just because of your anti-freedom ridiculous and ineffective gun ban of 1997 which lead to an increase of violent crime in your area - but because of how it was that very principle (individual responsibility for our own safety, freedom, and government, secured in part with firearms) that enabled us to kick your asses and give you a message not unlike the one I am giving you this second with my avatar.

You are disqualified from judging my tools for my responsibilities while you operate under a 1997 gun ban as your Government acknowledges and respects royalty, paid for by you. Have your elderly taken up karate to defend their homes from home invaders? Should we throw out the Right to Revolt in our State Constitutions? Should we forget that the main principle our Declaration of Independence (the document that said FUCK YOU, ROYAL BITCHES) was to say that freedom means having the will and tools to make and keep the People in charge.

You want people to rely on the Police who, 99.9% of the time, get there too late to stop a rape, home invasion, or murder. You want people to rely on getting to a phone to call the people who never get there in time, you dumb ass.

You can't identify with the long-term principles and responsibilities I speak of because you are not fucking American, you are in some country that has citizens still paying to a royal family and a Government that recognizes that authority and power. On top of an ineffective gun ban that only emphasizes the lack of focus on freedom. Dumb ass! Talk to me when people are dying to get into your Country, you don't have some dumb ass gun ban, and you don't have royalty. Until then, you are officially a British Ass.
